Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano

The exhibition of the South Tyrolean Museum of Archaeology documents the entire history of South Tyrol from the Old and Middle Stone Ages (15,000 b. C.) to the Carolingian period (around 800 a. C.).
Embedded in this historic setting, the Ice Man "Ötzi" and the objects accompanying the main find make up the central highlight of the exhibition. Models, reconstructions, stereograms and videos provide an insight into the past in a demanding, yet entertaining way.
